Using WPSuploader

This small program allows to upload your script to the WPSmote very quickly and easily.

You can either create your own .csv file in Excel or export directly from Finale Fireworks software (Export Generic CSV). You can also add/delete rows within the software itself.

Format:
Channel = 1-99
Bank = A-L
Cue = 1-12
Ignition Time = sss.ff or mm:ss.fff
 

Importing csv script from Finale Fireworks and uploading it to WPSmote:

1) Create your script using Finale Fireworks software following this format:

Channel = Module Address;
Bank = Slat Address;
Cue = Pin Address;
Igition time = Ignition Event Time.
You can access configuration in User Preferences -> Firing System -> Customize

2) Export your script as Generic CSV using Finale Fireworks.

3) Download and open WPSuploader.

4) Enter WPSmote in PC Control. Select COM port from the menu (usually the last one) and click Connect

5) Open your exported CSV file into WPSuploader.

6) Either select each column from the list or click Detect

7) Click Fill table. If no errors occured - continue.

8) Press Upload.

9) Check that script is uploaded correctly by going to WPSmote -> Script -> View.

10) You can now transfer script to all of your receivers (see manual).

 

Creating script CSV in Ms Excel and importing it to WPSmote:

1) Open new excel spreadSheet.

2) Create first row with these values: Channel, Bank, Cue, Ignition Time

3) Create your script entries following the formatting above.

4) Save your file as CSV.

5) Download and open WPSuploader.

6) Enter WPSmote in PC Control. Select COM port from the menu (usually the last one) and click Connect

7) Open your exported CSV file into WPSuploader.

8) Either select each column from the list or click Detect

9) Click Fill table. If no errors occurred - continue.

10) Press Upload.

11) Check that script is uploaded correctly by going to WPSmote -> Script -> View.

12) You can now transfer script to all of your receivers (see manual).
